Womenswear Spring/Summer ‘27
Firstly I worked on one of our color stories to represent our brand forecast, I used Adobe photoshop and images I curated from Pinterest and Cosmos to create a collage for the color story. I focused on darker colors to represent repression in media. The subjects are being targeted solely for speaking out and are always watched like a fly on the wall. This has caused a break in trust with our government in the united states.
A visual study of power, perception, and change—this forecast turns social tension into fashion’s next narrative.
We researched three prints for our forecast: large-scale people, newspaper, and puff pigment. Using Photoshop and researching Vogue Runway trends, I created visuals that align with our theme. The people print highlights individuality and collective strength. The newspaper print reflects media distortion and information overload. The puff pigment print adds depth and texture, symbolizing societal layers and awakening.
I collaborated with my team to create a mood board reflecting our theme of media and government suppression. Using Adobe Photoshop, we captured the public’s emotions—chaos, unrest, and uncertainty. Inspired by our tagline “More Than Meets The Eye,” the layered design reveals deeper meaning the longer you look: from feelings of overwhelm to intertwined hands symbolizing unity and our core theme, Strings Attached.
I designed the slide deck for What Goes Around Comes Around using Adobe Photoshop and researched Vogue Runway to identify common themes in dress trends. We decided on the theme of unity through connected drapery, highlighting how intertwined fabric symbolizes shared struggles, solidarity, and the shifting power dynamics between the public and government.
I designed the slide deck for our Fringe concept using Adobe Photoshop and researched Vogue Runway to identify trends in decorative elements. We chose fringe as a key item for its versatility and symbolism—freedom, movement, and independence. We decided it reflects disruption of tradition and intentional design, showing that while individuals may seem divided, all threads connect to a shared origin. Fringe embodies rebellion and the importance of questioning norms.
